A Long-billed Dowitcher was on the Exe Estuary in Devon, an Iberian Chiffchaff was at Portland, a Savi's Warbler sang at Potter Heigham Marshes in Norfolk, a Red-rumped Swallow appeared at Bishopthorpe in North Yorkshire and a Black Kite flew over Romsey in Hampshire. The Lesser Kestrel was still on Scilly. The best of the rest included Richard's Pipit, Wryneck, five Hoopoes, Rough-legged Buzzard and three Pomarine Skuas.
