	Highlight of the day was the continued presence of the male Black-throated Thrush in Bedfordshire, whilst Eastern Stonechat (Suffolk), Blue-winged Teal and Long-billed Dowitcher (Devon) and Richardson's Cackling Goose (Western Isles) also lingered. The best of the rest comprised Hoopoe (North Yorkshire), Purple Heron (Lancashire), Lesser Snow Goose (Highland), Surf Scoter (Lothian), Green-winged Teal (Northumberland), Lapland Bunting (Lincolnshire), Great Grey Shrike (South Yorkshire), two Yellow-browed Warblers, Rough-legged Buzzards and Tundra Bean Geese, four Taiga Bean Geese, five Ring-necked Ducks and six Shorelarks.
