	Highlight of the day was the lingering Hermit Thrush on Isles of Scilly, whilst Lesser Scaup (Cornwall), Long-billed Dowitcher (Northumberland), Coues's Arctic Redpoll (Shetland) and Eastern Stonechat (Suffolk) all remained on show. The best of the rest included Rough-legged Buzzard (Norfolk), Black Brant (Essex), Surf Scoter (Lothian), Ring-billed Gull (Co Kerry), three Great Grey Shrikes and Taiga Bean Geese, four Green-winged Teals, six Yellow-browed Warblers and Ring-necked Ducks and seven Tundra Bean Geese.<
