Rarities elsewhere comprised the Baikal Teal still in Northumberland, Lesser Grey Shrike in Norfolk, Black Stork in Moray, Subalpine Warbler in East Yorkshire, Black Duck in Highland, and in West Yorkshire both Iberian Chiffchaff and Ferruginous Duck.

Scarcities included Red-breasted Flycatcher and Purple Heron (Western Isles), Marsh Warbler, Common Rosefinch and Red-necked Phalarope (Northumberland), Woodchat Shrike (Suffolk), Serin (Kent), two each of American Wigeon and Ring-necked Duck, three Golden Orioles, and four each of Red-backed Shrike and Glossy Ibis.
