| Rarities today comprised the Forster's Tern still in County Galway, two
Pacific Divers together in Cornwall at Newlyn, Blyth's Reed Warbler still in Greater Manchester,
White-billed Diver and Richardson's Cackling Goose on the Western Isles, and a Richardson's Cackling Goose in Argyll. Scarcities included Pallas's Warbler (County Durham), Rose-coloured Starling (Conwy), American Wigeon (Worcestershire), Surf Scoter (Gwynedd), Temminck's Stint (Cornwall), two each of Yellow-browed Warbler and Glossy Ibis, three of Rough-legged Buzzard, Ring-necked Duck and Great Grey Shrike, four Ring-billed Gulls, and a total of 27 Shorelarks. |
