| Rarities today comprised the Forster's Tern still in County Galway, Penduline Tit
in Gloucestershire, Coues's Arctic Redpoll in Suffolk and Lesser Yellowlegs in Dorset. Scarcities included Temminck's Stint (West Sussex), Ring-necked Duck (Essex), American Wigeon (Highland), Ring-billed Gull (County Dublin), Glossy Ibis (Argyll), two each of both Richard's Pipit and Surf Scoter, and in England a total of 36 Parrot Crossbills between Berkshire, Derbyshire and Hertfordshire. |

| Rarities today comprised the Snowy Owl again briefly in Cornwall, the
Gyr again briefly in County Durham, Penduline Tit still in Gloucestershire,
Stilt Sandpiper and Lesser Yellowlegs both still in Dorset, Lesser Scaup in Cornwall, and
Coues's Arctic Redpolls in both Suffolk and West Yorkshire. Scarcities included Barred Warbler (Hampshire), Richard's Pipit (Suffolk), American Golden Plover (Suffolk), Temminck's Stint (West Sussex), Lesser Snow Goose (Aberdeenshire), two each of both Ring-necked Duck (Essex and Wiltshire) and Surf Scoter (Carmarthenshire and County Meath) and seven Parrot Crossbills still in England (four in Derbyshire and three in Hertfordshire). |

| Rarities today comprised the Penduline Tit still in Gloucestershire, Stilt Sandpiper in Dorset, Coues's Arctic Redpolls
in both Suffolk and West Yorkshire, Red-breasted Goose in Northumberland and
Lesser Scaup in Cornwall. Scarcities included Barred Warbler and Ring-billed Gull (Hampshire), Richard's Pipit (East Yorkshire and Lothian), Temminck's Stint (West Sussex), Glossy Ibis (Isle of Wight), two each of both Ring-necked Duck and Surf Scoter, and in England 22 Parrot Crossbills (16 in Berkshire and six in Suffolk). |

| New discoveries today included a Penduline Tit in Longford,
Gloucestershire and a Red-breasted Goose at Cresswell, Northumberland.
Lingering rarities included the Stilt Sandpiper and Lesser Yellowlegs in Dorset, Long-billed Dowitcher in Kent, Pied-billed Grebe in Shetland, Coues's Arctic Redpoll in Suffolk and Lesser Scaup in Cornwall. Scarcity highlights comprised a Barred Warbler, a Richard's Pipit, a Waxwing, a Great Grey Shrike, two Shorelarks, five Lapland Buntings, 26 Parrot Crossbills, a Temminck's Stint, two Surf Scoters, three Ring-necked Ducks, four American Wigeon, four Green-winged Teals, a Todd's Canada Goose, three Little Auks, three Glossy Ibises, a Ring-billed Gull, four Glaucous Gulls and 14 Iceland Gulls. |

| Lingering rarities confirmed as still present today were the Pied Wheatear in County Cork,
Pied-billed Grebe on the Shetland Isles and the Stilt Sandpiper in Dorset. Scarcities included Barred Warbler and Ring-billed Gull (both Hampshire), Temminck's Stint (West Sussex), Surf Scoter (2) and Glossy Ibis (both Cornwall), Ring-necked Duck (Carmarthenshire and Essex), four Cattle Egrets (together Devon), six Parrot Crossbills in England (together in Suffolk). |
