Wednesday 22nd November 2017  
  Lingering rarities confirmed as still present today comprised the Forster's Tern still in County Galway, Lesser Yellowlegs in Dorset, Long-billed Dowitcher in Kent, Ferruginous Duck in Leicestershire and Richardson's Cackling Goose in Argyll.

Scarcities included Pallas's Warbler (Kent), Barred Warbler (Hampshire), Red-necked Phalarope (Lincolnshire), Rough-legged Buzzard (Essex), Surf Scoter (Lothian), American Wigeon (Devon), Ring-necked Duck (County Monaghan) and American Golden Plover (Cornwall and Western Isles).

Tuesday 21st November 2017  
  Rarities today comprised the Pied-billed Grebe still on the Shetland Isles, Long-billed Dowitcher in Kent and Dusky Warblers in both Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.

Scarcities included Hoopoe (Dorset), Red-necked Phalarope (Lincolnshire), Richard's Pipit (two together in East Yorkshire), American Golden Plover (Cornwall and Western Isles), Surf Scoter (two together in Cornwall) and four American Wigeons.

Sunday 19th November 2017  
  The highlight of the day was the discovery of an Eastern Stonechat species in Kent at Halstow Marsh. Rarities elsewhere comprised Dusky Warblers in both Cornwall (new at Sennen) and the Isles of Scilly, Lesser Yellowlegs still in Dorset, Bonaparte's Gull in Devon, Lesser Scaup in Oxfordshire, Ferruginous Duck in Leicestershire, and Long-billed Dowitchers in both Kent and County Wexford (2).

Scarcities included Pallas's Warbler (Kent), Barred Warbler (Hampshire), Ortolan Bunting (Dorset), Little Bunting (Cornwall), Red-necked Phalarope (Lincolnshire), Rough-legged Buzzard (East Yorkshire), Corncrake (Gwynedd), and an inland Shorelark (Surrey), four Surf Scoters, and five each of both American Wigeon and Ring-necked Duck.

Saturday 18th November 2017  
  New discoveries today included a Snowy Owl on Eday, Orkney and a Dusky Warbler at Higher Moors, Isles of Scilly, whilst a Lesser Scaup is present for a second day at Farmoor, Oxfordshire.

Lingering rarities included the Pied-billed Grebe in Shetland, Forster's Tern in County Galway, Lesser Yellowlegs in Dorset, two Long-billed Dowitchers in County Wexford and one in Kent, Lesser Scaup in County Galway and Ferruginous Duck in Leicestershire.

Scarcity highlights included a Pallas's Warbler, a Little Bunting, a Ring-billed Gull, a Lesser Snow Goose, a Rough-legged Buzzard, an American Golden Plover, a Dotterel, a Red-necked Phalarope, two Grey Phalaropes, three Ring-necked Ducks, three American Wigeons, three Green-winged Teals, three Little Auks, three Great Grey Shrikes, three Lapland Buntings, four Surf Scoters and six Shorelarks.

Tuesday 14th November 2017  
  An Olive-backed Pipit was on Lundy, Devon today, whilst lingering rarities included the Pacific Diver in Cornwall, Lesser Yellowlegs in Dorset, Long-billed Dowitcher in Kent, Ferruginous Duck in Leicestershire and King Eider in Highland.

Scarcity highlights included a Pallas's Warbler, a Rose-coloured Starling, a Little Bunting, a Dotterel, a Red-necked Phalarope, a Grey Phalarope, a Rough-legged Buzzard, a Green-winged Teal, a Snow Goose, a Todd's Canada Goose, a Pomarine Skua, two Sabine's Gulls, two American Golden Plovers, two Surf Scoters, two American Wigeon, two Black Brants, three Glaucous Gulls, four Great Grey Shrikes, four Lapland Buntings, four Glossy Ibises, five Iceland Gulls, nine Waxwings, 14 Shorelarks and 22 Little Auks.

Monday 13th November 2017  
  Rarities today comprised the Pacific Diver still in Cornwall, Lesser Yellowlegs in Dorset, Richardson's Cackling Goose in Cumbria, Ferruginous Duck in Leicestershire and a White-billed Diver new on the Shetland Isles at Kirkabister, Mainland.

Scarcities included Rose-coloured Starling (Hampshire), Red-necked Phalarope (Lincolnshire), Rough-legged Buzzard (Norfolk), Dotterel (Cumbria), American Wigeon (Leicestershire), two Little Buntings (together in Cornwall), three Surf Scoters and four Ring-necked Ducks.
