  New discoveries today included a White-billed Diver on Tory Island, County Donegal and a drake Ferruginous Duck at Killingworth Lake, Northumberland.

Lingering rarities included the Hume's Warbler in Dorset, Eastern Black Redstart in Cleveland, Pallid Harrier in Norfolk, King Eider in County Kerry, Lesser Scaup in Cornwall, Long-billed Dowitcher in County Wexford, Hudsonian Whimbrel in Cornwall, Bonaparte's Gull in Ayrshire and four White-billed Divers in Aberdeenshire.
