  Lingering rarities still present today included the Blue Rock Thrush in Gloucestershire, Pine Bunting in Yorkshire, Pacific Divers in Northumberland and Cornwall, Killdeer in Shetland, Hudsonian Whimbrel in Cornwall, Red-flanked Bluetail in Glamorgan, Hume's Warbler in Dorset, Desert Wheatear in Devon, Eastern Black Redstart in Cleveland, Black Duck in Highland and Pallid Harrier in Yorkshire.

Scarcity highlights included a Bluethroat, a Little Bunting, a Rose-coloured Starling, a Temminck's Stint, two Richard's Pipits, two Yellow-browed Warblers, two Lapland Buntings, two Rough-legged Buzzards, two Glossy Ibises, an American Wigeon, a Green-winged Teal and three Ring-necked Ducks.
