  Lingering rarities still present today comprised the Dusky Thrush still in Derbyshire, Blue Rock Thrush in Gloucestershire, Pacific Diver in Northumberland, Pine Bunting in North Yorkshire, Red-flanked Bluetail in Glamorgan, Eastern Black Redstart in Cleveland, Hooded Merganser and Bonaparte's Gull in Clyde, and Lesser Yellowlegs in Dorset.

Scarcities included Rose-coloured Starling (West Sussex), Serin (East Sussex), Rough-legged Buzzard (Norfolk), Lesser Snow Goose (Lancashire), Kumlien's Gull (County Waterford), two each of Little Bunting, Ring-necked Duck and Surf Scoter, three each of American Wigeon and Yellow-browed Warbler, seven Ring-billed Gulls, eight Great Grey Shrikes, 41 Cattle Egrets, 56 Shorelarks, and a total of 89 Tundra Bean Geese.

Significant late news concerned a Gyr seen yesterday on Harris, Western Isles.
