  Lingering rarities still present today included the Dusky Thrush in Derbyshire, Masked Wagtail in Pembrokeshire, single Eastern Black Redstarts in Cleveland and Lothian, Isabelline Wheatear and Hume's Yellow-browed Warbler in Norfolk, Dusky Warbler in Worcestershire, Hooded Merganser in Ayrshire, Lesser Scaup in Orkney, Pallid Harrier in Yorkshire and Long-billed Dowitcher in County Wexford.

Scarcity highlights included a Rose-coloured Starling, a Great Grey Shrike, three Lapland Buntings, two American Wigeon, four Green-winged Teals, four Surf Scoters, six Ring-necked Ducks, a Ring-billed Gull, five Iceland Gulls and six Glaucous Gulls.
