| The highlight of the day was the continued presence of the Dusky Thrush in Derbyshire at Beeley, where it showed throughout the day. Elsewhere, a Hume's Yellow-browed Warbler
was identified in Norfolk at Scratby, the Masked Wagtail remained in Pembrokeshire, as did the
Killdeer on the Shetland Isles, Pallid Harrier in East Yorkshire,
Desert Wheatears in Devon and East Sussex, Eastern Black Redstarts in Cleveland and Lothian, two
Dusky Warblers together in Worcestershire, and the Lesser Yellowlegs in Dorset. Scarcities included Rough-legged Buzzard (Norfolk), Ring-necked Duck (Cambridgeshire and Kent), Ring-billed Gull (County Fermanagh and Hampshire), and a total of 12 Cattle Egrets and 26 Shorelarks. |
