| The highlight of the day was the continued presence of the Masked Wagtail in Pembrokeshire at Camrose, where it showed well all day. Elsewhere, lingering rarities comprised the
Killdeer still on the Shetland Isles, Hooded Merganser in Ayrshire,
Pallid Harrier in East Yorkshire, Desert Wheatears in Devon and East Sussex,
Bonaparte's Gull in Devon, Eastern Black Redstart in Cleveland, and
Lesser Yellowlegs in Dorset. Rose-coloured Starlings in Oxfordshire and West Sussex, Ring-billed Gull in Hampshire, Rough-legged Buzzard in Norfolk, American Wigeon in Devon, Ring-necked Duck in Cambridgeshire, two Surf Scoters, three Lesser Snow Geese in Aberdeenshire, three Glossy Ibises, seven Cattle Egrets and a total of 40 Shorelarks |
