  Lingering rarities seen today included the Western Rufous Turtle Dove, Killdeer and Hornemann's Arctic Redpoll in Shetland, Hudsonian Whimbrel and Dalmatian Pelican in Cornwall, Hooded Merganser in Ayrshire, Forster's Tern in County Galway, Eastern Black Redstart in Cleveland, Desert Wheatear in Devon, Pallid Harrier in Lincolnshire and East Yorkshire, Lesser Yellowlegs in Dorset, White-billed Diver in Orkney and Bonaparte's Gull in Devon.

Scarcity highlights included a Todd's Canada Goose, a Glaucous Gull, two Iceland Gulls, two Little Auks, two Ring-necked Ducks, two Green-winged Teals, three Pomarine Skuas, four American Wigeon, four Cattle Egrets and six Great Grey Shrikes.
