| The highlight of the day was the discovery of a new Semipalmated Plover in County Wexford at Tacumshin, where the
Western Sandpiper showed again. Rarities elsewhere comprised a Barolo Shearwater at sea southwest of the Isles of Scilly, a Black Kite in Suffolk over Landguard, the American White-winged Scoter still in Aberdeenshire, Broad-billed Sandpiper in Lincolnshire, Caspian Tern in Norfolk, and Bonaparte's Gull in Northumberland. Scarcities included Melodious Warbler (Dorset), Great Shearwater (Devon), Spotted Crake (Cheshire), Surf Scoter (Aberdeenshire), Glossy Ibis (Cheshire), White Stork (London), and two Pectoral Sandpipers. |

| The highlight of the day was the reappearance of the Western Sandpiper in County Wexford at Tacumshin. Elsewhere, rare waders comprised the
Hudsonian Whimbrel still in Cornwall, Baird's Sandpiper in Suffolk,
White-rumped Sandpiper in Norfolk, and both Broad-billed Sandpiper and
Pectoral Sandpiper together in Lincolnshire. Other rarities comprised a Caspian Tern new in Norfolk at Hickling Broad, the American White-winged Scoter still in Aberdeenshire, Dalmatian Pelican still in Cornwall, two Wilson's Petrels off the Isles of Scilly, and single Bonaparte's Gulls in both Kent and Northumberland. Scarcities included Surf Scoter (Aberdeenshire), two each of both Glossy Ibis and Spotted Crake, three Cattle Egrets, and five Cory's Shearwaters. |

| Sunday 24th July 2016 | ||
| New discoveries today included a Broad-billed Sandpiper at Frampton
Marsh RSPB, Lincolnshire, a Baird's Sandpiper at Minsmere RSPB, Suffolk,
a White-rumped Sandpiper at Tacumshin, County Wexford, a Caspian Tern
at Faxfleet, Yorkshire and a King Eider at Murvagh, County Donegal.
Lingering rarities included the American White-winged Scoter in Aberdeenshire, Hudsonian Whimbrel and Dalmatian Pelican in Cornwall, White-rumped Sandpiper in Norfolk, Little Bittern in Somerset, seven Wilson's Petrels off County Cork and Bonaparte's Gull in Northumberland. |

| Saturday 23rd July 2016 | ||
| The fifth Western Sandpiper for Ireland was discovered in County
Wexford today, at Tacumshin. Other new discoveries included a Caspian Tern
and Alpine Swift in Norfolk, three sightings of single Black Storks
in Kent and a Bee-eater in Dorset.
Lingering rarities included the American White-winged Scoter and White-rumped Sandpiper in Aberdeenshire, Hudsonian Whimbrel and Dalmatian Pelican in Cornwall, two Little Bitterns in Somerset, Bonaparte's Gull in Kent and White-rumped Sandpiper in Norfolk. |

| Friday 22nd July 2016 | ||
| A Caspian Tern was at Carr Vale, Derbyshire for much of the day,
before visiting Orgreave Lagoons, South Yorkshire briefly early evening. A
Savi's Warbler was reported from Strumpshaw Fen RSPB, Norfolk, the American
Golden Plover at Tacumshin, County Wexford was reidentified as a Pacific
Golden Plover and a White-rumped Sandpiper was present for its second
day at Starnafin Farm, Aberdeenshire.
Other lingering rarities seen today included the Hudsonian Whimbrel in Cornwall, two Little Bitterns in Somerset, Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, White-rumped Sandpipers in Norfolk and Lincolnshire and three Wilson's Petrels from the RV Celtic Explorer south of Cape Clear, County Cork and west of the Isles of Scilly. |

| Wednesday 20th July 2016 | ||
| The highlight of the day was the long-awaited first Greater Sand Plover for Ireland, at Tacumshin, County Wexford, although it soon departed to the northeast. Elsewhere, rarities today were both the Dalmatian Pelican and Hudsonian Whimbrel still in Cornwall, a territorial Little Bittern in Somerset, and the Bonaparte's Gull in Kent. Scarcities included American Golden Plover and Cattle Egret (together in County Wexford), Common Rosefinch (London), Sabine's Gull (Derbyshire), Pectoral Sandpiper (Lincolnshire), White Stork (Oxfordshire), and Surf Scoter (Aberdeenshire and Lothian). |

| Rarities today comprised the American White Winged Scoter still in Aberdeenshire,
Bonaparte's Gull in Northumberland, and territorial Little Bitterns still in
both Somerset and South Yorkshire. Scarcities included Sabine's Gull (Derbyshire), Cory's Shearwater (Isles of Scilly), Glossy Ibis (Somerset), Cattle Egret (County Wexford), Surf Scoter (Aberdeenshire and Lothian), and Red-necked Phalarope (four together on the Orkney Isles). |
