| Rarities today comprised the American White-winged Scoter still in Aberdeenshire, the
Dalmatian Pelican again in Cornwall, territorial Little Bittern in South Yorkshire,
Bonaparte's Gull still in Northumberland, and a Bee-eater on the Isle of Wight briefly. Scarcities included Common Rosefinch (London), Great Shearwater (County Waterford), Surf Scoter (Lothian), and Glossy Ibis (both Shropshire and Suffolk). |
