  The superb Gyr was again in the Balranald area of North Uist on the Western Isles and a White-billed Diver was still off Barra. The Bonaparte's Gull was seen again this evening at Thurso in Highland.

Other long staying rarities included King Eiders in Fife and County Wexford, the Long-billed Dowitcher at Cresswell in Northumberland and the Penduline Tit was reported again at Titchfield in Hampshire.

In Surrey, the Little Bunting was reported again briefly and the Pallas's Warbler remained in Dorset. There was a general arrival of early spring migrants, especially Willow Warblers with around 120 Firecrests counted at Dungeness.
