  New discoveries today included single Olive-backed Pipits at Flamborough, East Yorkshire and Norwick, Unst, Shetland, and a Pallid Harrier at Voy, Mainland, Orkney.

Lingering rarities still present today included the Northern Harrier in Orkney, Pallid Harrier in West Sussex, Bonaparte's Gull in Moray, Long-billed Dowitcher in Hampshire and Olive-backed Pipit on Mainland Shetland.

Scarcity highlights were a Bluethroat, a Short-toed Lark, a Red-backed Shrike, a Hoopoe, a Ring-necked Duck, an American Wigeon, an American Golden Plover, a Dotterel, two Little Buntings, two Common Rosefinches, two Serins, three Great Grey Shrikes, three Red-breasted Flycatchers, three Rose-coloured Starlings, five Pectoral Sandpipers, five Barred Warblers, six Richard's Pipits, seven Lapland Buntings and 86 Yellow-browed Warblers.
