| New rarities today comprised a Radde's Warbler in County Galway on Inishbofin, and a Red-throated Pipit on the Isle of May, Fife. Otherwise, lingering rarities confirmed as still present were the
Pallid Harrier in West Sussex, Greater Yellowlegs on the Isle of Wight,
Alpine Swift in Conwy, Red-throated Pipit on the Isles of Scilly,
Citrine Wagtail in East Yorkshire, Blyth's Reed Warbler and Lesser Yellowlegs in County Cork,
Long-billed Dowitcher in Hampshire, Bonaparte's Gull and Ridgway's Cackling Goose in Devon,
Bonaparte's Gull in Moray, and Northern Herrier on the Orkney Isles. Scarcities included seven Richard's Pipits, four Long-tailed Skuas, three each of Little Bunting, Rose-coloured Starling, Barred Warbler and Glossy Ibis, two of both Bluethroat and Cattle Egret, and single Red-breasted Flycatcher (Pembrokeshire), Hoopoe (Fife), Red-backed Shrike (Orkney Isles), Pectoral Sandpiper (Isles of Scilly) and Snow Goose (Dumfries and Galloway). |
