  The first Hudsonian Godwit for Ireland was discovered late afternoon at Ballyconneely, County Galway.

Other new discoveries included a Paddyfield Warbler on Noss, Shetland and a Bee-eater at Sidestrand, Norfolk.

Lingering rarities still present today included the Least Sandpiper in the Isles of Scilly, Greater Yellowlegs in Hampshire, Broad-billed Sandpiper in Norfolk, White-rumped Sandpiper in East Yorkshire, Little Bittern in South Yorkshire, Red-footed Falcon in Staffordshire, Black Kite in Suffolk, Bonaparte's Gull in Kent and Lesser Scaup in Somerset.
