Highlight of the day was the discovery of a Two-barred Crossbill in Powys, whilst a Black Scoter was reported in Northumberland. Elsewhere lingering rarities included Harlequin Duck (Aberdeenshire), King Eider (Fife), Lesser Scaup (Cornwall and Glamorgan), Ivory Gull (Highland), Pacific Diver (Cornwall), White-billed Diver (Orkney), Lesser Yellowlegs (East Sussex) and Black Scoter (Co Kerry).
