| Rarities today comprised the Blyth's Pipit still in West Yorkshire, Eastern Black Redstart
on the Isles of Scilly, single Lesser Scaups in each of Argyll, Lothian and Powys, and a
Richardson's Cackling Goose new on Baleshare, Western Isles. Scarcities included Barred Warbler (Dorset), Yellow-browed Warbler (Devon), Surf Scoter (Suffolk), Little Auk (County Down), two each of Richard's Pipit, Cattle Egret and Black Brant, three of Lapland Bunting and Black Brant, four each of Ring-necked Duck, Great Grey Shrike and Shorelark, five Iceland Gulls, seven Caspian Gulls, eight Rough-legged Buzzards, 10 Great White Egrets and a total of 21 Tundra Bean Geese. |
