| Lingering rarities confirmed as still present today were the Bridled Tern in Northumberland on the Farne Islands,
Ross's Gull in Devon at Topsham, Laughing Gull in County Cork at Ballycotton, and
Lesser Scaup in Somerset at Blagdon Lake. Scarcities included Rose-coloured Starling (Lancashire), Temminck's Stint (Northumberland), Pectoral Sandpiper (Norfolk), Corncrake (East Yorkshire) and six scattered Glossy Ibises. |
