| Rarities today comprised the Short-toed Eagle still in East Sussex, Bridled Tern in Northumberland,
Ross's Gull in Devon, the family of Black-winged Stilts in West Sussex,
Red-footed Falcon still in Cornwall with another briefly in Dorset. Scarcities included single Rose-coloured Starlings in Lancashire, Moray and Suffolk, Common Rosefinch (Gwynedd), Golden Oriole (Suffolk), Red-backed Shrike (Norfolk), Grey Phalarope (Orkney Isles), Dotterel (Lancashire), Ring-necked Duck (County Derry), Cory's Shearwater (Aberdeenshire), two Pectoral Sandpipers and six Glossy Ibises. |
