  The second Laughing Gull for County Wicklow was discovered today - a first-summer bird at Kilcoole briefly late morning before it flew south. A Black Stork was again seen in Greater Manchester, this time over North Reddish, whilst single Black Kites flew over Flamborough Head, Yorkshire and Reydon then Benacre, Suffolk. A Blyth's Reed Warbler was at Virkie, Shetland.

Lingering rarities included the Short-toed Eagle in Hampshire, Bridled Tern in Northumberland, Ross's Gull in Devon, Lesser Grey Shrike in Shetland, Greenish Warbler in Lothian, two Black-winged Stilts in Sussex and King Eider in Aberdeenshire.
