| New discoveries today included a Rustic Bunting at Porth Hellick,
Isles of Scilly, a Blue-winged Teal at Loch of Strathbeg RSPB,
Aberdeenshire and a Black Kite near Cosham, Hampshire. The
Black-winged Stilt total increased to five at Medmerry, Sussex and six at
Cliffe, Kent.
Lingering rarities still present today included the Spectacled Warbler in Norfolk, singing Savi's Warblers in Suffolk and Aberdeenshire, Greenish Warbler in Lothian, Ross's Gull in Devon and Lesser Scaup in Cheshire. Scarcity highlights involved a Rose-coloured Starling, a Serin, a Green-winged Teal, two Red-backed Shikes, three Long-tailed Skuas, three American Wigeon and five Marsh Warblers. |
