Tuesday 15th April 2014  
  The highlight of the day was the discovery of a Bee-eater on St Mary's, Isles of Scilly, with Spotted Crake and Wryneck also noted around the archipelago.

Elsewhere, rarities comprised the Baikal Teal still in Cambridgeshire, Pied-billed Grebe on the Western Isles, Tawny Pipit in East Yorkshire, two Black-winegd Stilts in Essex, three White-billed Divers in Aberdeenshire, King Eider in Lothian, Lesser Yellowlegs in Hampshire, and Two-barred Crossbills still in Greater Manchester and Norfolk (2).

Scarcities included Cattle Egret (East Sussex), Pectoral Sandpiper (Orkney Isles), Yellow-browed Warbler (Worcestershire), Lapland Bunting (Shetland Isles), Surf Scoter (Cornwall and Lothian), three Hoopoes, three migrant Dotterels and five Glossy Ibises.
