A quiet day, with lingering rarities comprising the American Coot and
King Eider in Highland, Pacific Diver in County Tyrone,
American Buff-bellied Pipit in Cheshire, Hume's Yellow-browed Warbler
in Warwickshire, Azorean Yellow-legged Gull in County Wexford, Lesser
Yellowlegs and Ferruginous Duck in Hampshire and single Lesser
Scaups in Staffordshire, Glamorgan and Cornwall.
Scarcity highlights included a Pallas's Warbler, a Yellow-browed Warbler, a Serin, a Rose-coloured Starling, a Rough-legged Buzzard, two Grey Phalaropes, four Great Grey Shrikes, eight Kumlien's Gulls and 14 Parrot Crossbills. |
