  Rarities today comprised the American Robin still present on the Isles of Scilly, a Two-barred Crossbill in Norfolk, Little Bunting on the Orkney Isles, White-rumped Sandpiper in Cornwall, Lesser Scaup in Somerset, Azorean Yellow-legged Gull in Northamptonshire, and Glossy Ibis in Derbyshire, Gloucestershire (2), Norfolk, Nottinghamshire and Suffolk.

Scarcities included Common Rosefinch and Barred Warbler (both in East Yorkshire), Rough-legged Buzzard (Norfolk), Cattle Egret (Kent), Ring-billed Gull (Hampshire), two each of both Red-backed and Great Grey Shrike, American Wigeon, Sabine's Gull and Shorelark, three each of Red-breasted Flycatcher, Richard's Pipit and Yellow-browed Warbler, and four Lapland Buntings.
