  Lingering rarities seen today included just the Harlequin Duck on the Western Isles, American Coot in County Galway, Black-bellied Dipper in Norfolk, Lesser Yellowlegs in Devon, Red-breasted Goose in Hampshire and Lesser Scaup in Cornwall. The Desert Wheatear in Aberdeenshire was confirmed for her 100th day.

Scarcities included a Northern Eider, an American Wigeon, two Green-winged Teals, three Ring-necked Ducks, three Surf Scoters, a Todd's Canada Goose, a Black Brant, two Snow Geese, six Tundra Bean Geese, a Pomarine Skua, a Kumlien's Gull, five Ring-billed Gulls, six Iceland Gulls, eight Caspian Gulls, nine Glaucous Gulls, ten Spoonbills and 12 Great White Egrets.
