| Lingering rarities seen today included the Subalpine Warbler in
Cornwall, Desert Wheatear and King Eider in Aberdeenshire,
Black-bellied Dipper and Red-breasted Goose in Suffolk, Lesser
Yellowlegs in Devon, Long-billed Dowitchers in Pembrokeshire and
Lincolnshire, Bonaparte's Gulls in Glamorgan and County Antrim, King
Eider in Shetland, Lesser Scaups in Somerset and County Clare,
Red-breasted Geese in Hampshire and Dumfries and Galloway and Glossy
Ibises in Pembrokeshire and Hampshire.
Scarcity highlights included a Richard's Pipit, a Todd's Canada Goose a Temminck's Stint, a Rose-coloured Starling, a Yellow-browed Warbler and a Grey Phalarope. |
