	On Western Isles a white morph Gyr was seen on South Uist today. Elsewhere lingering rarities comprised two Penduline Tits in Cambridgeshire, Glossy Ibis in Hampshire, White-rumped Sandpiper in Dorset, Ferruginous Duck in Somerset, Desert Wheatear in Aberdeenshire, Long-billed Dowitcher in Gloucestershire and Lesser Scaup in Co Clare. The best of the rest included Temminck's Stint in Somerset, White Stork over Bedfordshire, American Wigeon in Aberdeenshire and West Yorkshire and Grey Phalarope in Suffolk. Late news from yesterday related to the continued presence of four Hornemann's Arctic Redpolls on Unst (Shetland).
