Sunday 21st October 2012  
  An Arctic Warbler was discovered at Ronas Voe, Shetland, along with an Olive-backed Pipit nearby on Out Skerries. Another Olive-backed Pipit was at Reculver, Kent, whilst a Red-throated Pipit was on St Mary's, Isles of Scilly. A Lesser Yellowlegs spent the afternoon on Aldcliffe Marsh, Lancashire, a Red-breasted Goose was on Islay, Argyll, and a Bonaparte's Gull was at Dawlish Warren, Devon.

Lingering rarities included the Eastern Olivaceous Warbler and Radde's Warbler in Fife, Siberian Stonechat in Sussex, Subalpine Warbler in Dorset, Radde's Warbler in Angus, Red-throated Pipit in County Cork, Northern Harrier in County Wexford, Red-breasted Goose in Kent, Spotted Sandpiper in County Clare, Long-billed Dowitcher in Gloucestershire, Lesser Yellowlegs' in County Kerry and Devon, Lesser Scaups in Somerset and Glamorgan and Glossy Ibises in Cornwall (3) and Pembrokeshire.
