	Highlight of the day was the discovery of a Swainson's Thrush on Barra (Western Isles). Elsewhere on the archipelago an American Buff-bellied Pipit, Blyth's Reed Warbler and two American Golden Plover were all logged. On Shetland a Lanceolated Warbler arrived on Fair Isle, where a Pechora Pipit, Arctic Warbler, Blyth's Reed Warbler and Richard's Pipit were also seen. Elsewhere on Shetland the American Buff-bellied Pipit, Siberian Stonechat, Spotted Sandpiper, Isabelline Shrike, Little Bunting and American Golden Plover lingered on Mainland, a Pechora Pipit and Hornemann's Arctic Redpoll were both still on Unst and a Blyth's Reed Warbler remained on Foula. A couple of new Nearctic waders were discovered - a White-rumped Sandpiper in Co Mayo and a Lesser Yellowlegs in Argyll (the latter previously misidentified as a Wood Sandpiper). Lingering rarities included Short-billed Dowitcher in Dorset, Ortolan Bunting in Co Cork, Western Bonelli's Warbler on Isles of Scilly, American Buff-bellied Pipits in Co Antrim and Co Kerry and Bonaparte's Gull in Co Antrim.
