	In Highland a Greater Yellowlegs at St John's Loch is presumably the long-staying and wide-ranging bird that was last reported at Loch of Mey (Highland) on 28th May. Elsewhere in Scotland a Gull-billed Tern visited Loch Ba Liana Moire on South Uist (Western Isles). A Wilson's Petrel was logged off a pelagic 14 miles north-west of Newquay (Cornwall), a Glossy Ibis visited The Naze (Essex) and the White-rumped Sandpiper in Lincolnshire, Iberian Chiffchaff in Somerset and Long-billed Dowitcher in Gloucestershire all lingered. The best of the rest included White-winged Black Tern in Lincolnshire, Purple Heron and flyover Serin in Kent and  Pectoral Sandpipers in Co Antrim and South Yorkshire.
