  Rarities today comprised the Sharp-tailed Sandpiper still on the Orkney Isles, Long-billed Dowitcher in Gloucestershire, and in Somerset both the territorial Iberian Chiffchaff and Ferruginous Duck remained.

Scarcities included Surf Scoter (Angus), Ring-billed Gull (County Down), Pectoral Sandpiper (Northumberland) and Great White Egret (Lincolnshire).

Seawatching highlights included a Sabine's Gull passing County Cork, a total of 12 Pomarine Skuas, and 10 Balearic Shearwaters between Ceredigion, Cornwall and Dorset.
