	Rarity news included the Roller in Aberdeenshire, Ferruginous Duck in Somerset, Snowy Owl in Co Mayo and Glossy Ibises in Suffolk, Co Wexford, Pembrokeshire and Hampshire. The best of the rest included Red-backed Shrike in London, Montagu's Harrier in Lancashire, Pectoral Sandpipers in Norfolk and Northumberland and Temminck's Stint in Cleveland. A godwit seen at Frodsham Marsh (Cheshire) this morning was probably a Hudsonian Godwit, but the bird could not be located at the site this evening.
