  Significant new arrivals today included a Siberian Stonechat on Holy Island, Northumberland, a Red-rumped Swallow at Far Ings NR, Lincolnshire, an Alpine Swift at Lowestoft, Suffolk and a Black Kite over St Ives, Cornwall. Black-winged Stilts were discovered at Wrafton, Devon (2) and Wadebridge, Cornwall, whilst three Glossy Ibises were at Campfield Marsh RSPB, Cumbria.

Long staying rarities confirmed as still present today included the Greater Yellowlegs in Aberdeenshire, Iberian Chiffchaff in Cambridgeshire, Long-billed Dowitchers in Somerset (2) and County Wexford, Black-winged Stilt in Lincolnshire, Blue-winged Teal in Cornwall, White-billed Diver in Aberdeenshire, Red-breasted Goose in Highland, Lesser Scaup in Glamorgan and Glossy Ibises in Pembrokeshire (3), County Cork, Cleveland and Dorset.
