| New discoveries included a brief Savi's Warbler in Somerset and
Red-rumped Swallow in East Yorkshire. Lingering rarities comprised
Black-winged Stilt in Lincolnshire, Long-billed Dowitchers in
Somerset (2) and Co Wexford and Greater Yellowlegs in Aberdeenshire. A
Richardson's Canada Goose and Glossy Ibis were logged on North Uist
(Western Isles) and elsewhere Glossy Ibises were recorded in
Pembrokeshire (3), Gwynedd and Cleveland.
Scarcity records included two Hoopoes in Kent and a Pectoral Sandpiper in Herefordshire. |
