  Lingering rarities confirmed as still present today were the Western Sandpiper in Norfolk, Bufflehead in Cornwall, Desert Wheatears in both East Yorkshire and Northumberland, Hume's Yellow-browed Warbler and Blue-winged Teal in Dorset, Blue-winged Teal and Dusky Warbler on the Isles of Scilly, Bonaparte's Gull in County Antrim, both Lesser Scaup and Spotted Sandpiper in Somerset, and two Glossy Ibises in Kent.

Pallas's Warbler (Cornwall), Bluethroat (County Waterford), Yellow-browed Warbler (Isles of Scilly), Cattle Egret (Hampshire), Surf Scoter (Devon), American Wigeon (Herefordshire), Ring-necked Duck (Cornwall, Dorset (2) and Norfolk).
