| Lingering rarities confirmed as still present today comprised the White-billed Diver in Highland, Ferruginous Duck in Somerset and
Glossy Ibis in County Wexford. Scarcities included seven Shorelarks (together in Lincolnshire), three Green-winged Teals, two each of Surf Scoter (together in Fife), White Stork (together in Glamorgan) and Great White Egret and single Ring-necked Duck (Oxfordshire) and Ring-billed Gull (Shetland Isles). |
