	Lingering rarities confirmed as still present today comprised the singing River Warbler in Highland, Franklin's Gull and Great White Egret on the Orkney Isles and the territorial Little Bittern and Great White Egret together in Somerset. In Suffolk a Black Kite flew over Hen Reedbeds and in Cleveland a Pectoral Sandpiper was by Greatham Creek. Seawatching in Cornwall produced two Cory's Shearwaters whilst elsewhere wandering Common Cranes, Spoonbills and Roseate Terns provided interest.
