	A Wilson's Phalarope was discovered at Loch of Strathbeg RSPB, Aberdeenshire, where it remained until early evening. In East Yorkshire the juvenile Black Stork previously in North Yorkshire relocated to the Spurn peninsula. A new Citrine Wagtail arrived on Fair Isle and a Great White Egret flew over Scaling Dam Reservoir on the North Yorkshire/Cleveland border, before being seen on the Long Nab in Burniston, North Yorkshire. Lingering rarities included the Semipalmated and Marsh Sandpipers in Devon, Baird's Sandpiper in Cambridgeshire, White-winged Black Terns in Merseyside and Kent, Glossy Ibis in West Yorkshire and Hooded Merganser in Dorset. Scarcity highlights came in the form of Melodious Warblers in Cornwall and Mainland Shetland, Dotterel in Gloucestershire, Tawny Pipit, Rose-coloured Starling and Ortolan Bunting on Portland, Icterine Warbler on Isle of Sheppey, Kent, Pectoral Sandpiper in Norfolk and Buff-breasted Sandpipers on Tiree, Argyll and Isles of Scilly.
