| A Bee-eater was present at Landguard Nature Reserve, Suffolk this
morning, with another bird seen yesterday at Boyton Marshes RSPB, Suffolk.
In Cleveland, the Terek Sandpiper continued its' stay on Calor Gas Pool, Saltholme, and the White-billed Diver was also still present on South Ronaldsay, Orkney. The very long staying Glossy Ibis was at Marshside RSPB, Merseyside. The south coast , particularly in the Western Approaches, recorded large numbers of seabirds, including several triple figure counts of Storm Petrels, along with regular Balearic Shearwaters. Roseate Tern numbers continued to build on the east coast, with a flock of eight at South Shields, County Durham. |
