  Discoveries today included a Baikal Teal new in County Durham at Bishop Middleham, a Pied-billed Grebe in County Galway on Inishmore, and a Pallid Harrier in County Cork at Ballynamona although it transpires it was actually first seen there in November 2023.

Elsewhere, lingering rarities confirmed as still present were the Northern Waterthrush and Canvasback both in Essex, White-winged Scoter in County Galway, Black-throated Thrush in East Yorkshire, Red-breasted Geese in Norfolk and Northumberland, Pallid Harriers in Carmarthenshire/Glamorgan and Norfolk, Long-billed Dowitcher in East Sussex, Lesser Yellowlegs in Lincolnshire, Suffolk, and East Yorkshire, two Bonaparte's Gulls in Cornwall, Ferruginous Duck in Norfolk, and Lesser Scaups in Devon (4), Somerset, Pembrokeshire, and the Western Isles.
