Advance register now for the best chance
of a place
Following our successful trips in May 2007, we are in the final
stages of planning a return to Sula Sgeir, Western Isles, next
May, again on an expedition ship for 50 passengers from Ullapool.
Even moderate or strong winds should not cause us any problem -
they didn't this year – and we saw the bird on each of our three
trips!
If you are thinking of going next year you are advised to send a
100% refundable registration fee of £75 per person by
cheque payable to RA Filby asap
When details are finalised we will then contact you to find out if
you wish to confirm your place(s). At that time you may choose to
decline the place - in which case we will return your advance
registration in full and sell the place to someone else.
Once the trip goes on sale, priority will be given to RBA pager
customers for an initial period, after which, if there are any
places left, then all non- RBA customers will be dealt with in
order of receipt of their registration / deposit.
Trip Details
At this stage we are expecting the trip to run very much as in
2007: We will sail from Ullapool mid evening, spending much of the
following morning at Sula Sgeir, and return to Ullapool early
evening. This gives an onboard duration of about 20 hours.
Included in the price: 3-course evening meal, full buffet
breakfast, 2 course lunch and unlimited free tea and coffee.
Accommodation will be in twin berthed cabins, some with private
bathroom, some with shared bathroom. Cost approx £300 per person.

RBA website in June.
