Fair Isle Bird Observatory recruiting wardens for 2024

Are you a keen birder with excellent identification skills and a good knowledge of a wide range of UK birds? Do you have a track record of finding and reporting scarce species? Would you like to work on Fair Isle from April to October 2024 to assist with bird survey and monitoring work (covering spring and autumn migration and the seabird breeding season), and to show Fair isle’s spectacular wildlife to visitors?

Fair Isle Bird Observatory Trust is looking for two enthusiastic and experienced individuals to work as part of a small team to monitor Fair Isle’s spectacular wildlife. Salary £345/week. Accommodation and food on Fair Isle and travel to and from the Isle from within UK will be provided.
