BirdAlertPRO: Latest Updates Now Live

More customisable, more helpful – and even better value than before

Two new features – shaped by your feedback
We're pleased to announce a new update to the BirdAlertPRO app – the latest in a growing series of improvements we've introduced since our full relaunch in February 2025. This update includes:

  • New shorter notification sounds – ideal for those who prefer a more discreet alert while staying informed on the go.

  • Direct access to our YouTube tutorials – helping you get the most out of the app, with new videos being added regularly. Got a specific question? Let us know, and we’ll try to cover it in a future tutorial.

We’re building BirdAlertPRO with you – and for you
Since our major overhaul earlier this year, we've been steadily releasing updates based on user suggestions and real-world use. From interface tweaks to feature additions, we’re committed to making BirdAlertPRO the best tool it can be for active birders. Whether it’s fine-tuning how alerts are displayed or improving access to helpful content, each change has been guided by feedback from you.

One of many updates – and more to come
This is just one of many updates we've rolled out in recent months – and there’s more in the pipeline. We’re already working on new enhancements, so stay tuned and make sure your app is always up to date to enjoy the latest improvements.

And now better value than ever
Alongside these updates, we’ve permanently lowered the standard price for a full subscription to just £79.99 – down from the previous £159. That’s a huge saving for access to real-time rare bird news, location-based alerts, and all the tools that make BirdAlertPRO a must-have for serious birders.
