| New rarities today consisted of Lesser Yellowlegs at both Beacon Ponds in East Yorkshire and Lough Beg in County Derry, Olive-backed Pipits at both Portland Bill in Dorset and Fair Isle in Shetland, Red-throated Pipits at both Fair Isle in Shetland and St Mary's on Scilly, Pallid Harriers at both Belmont in Lancashire and Littlehampton in West Sussex, a Red-eyed Vireo at Inishbofin in County Galway, a Baird's Sandpiper at Reculver in Kent and a Bonaparte's Gull at Bamburgh in Northumberland.
Continuing rarities today consisted of King Eider in Shetland, White-winged Scoter in Angus, Ferruginous Duck in Essex, Baird's Sandpipers in West Yorkshire, County Clare and Orkney, Spotted Sandpiper in Cornwall, Long-billed Dowitcher on Orkney, Lesser Yellowlegs in Somerset, Fife, Leicestershire and Western Isles, Sora on Scilly, Bonaparte's Gull in County Galway, Black-winged Kite in Norfolk, Eastern Stonechat in Shetland, Olive-backed Pipit in Shetland, Red-flanked Bluetail in Orkney, Two-barred Greenish Warbler in Orkney and Western Bonelli's Warbler on Scilly. |
