| New rarities today consisted of a Barolo Shearwater off Pendeen Watch in Cornwall, as well as late news of a Red-billed Tropicbird off Looe, a Semipalmated Sandpiper at Blennerville in County Kerry, an American Black Tern at Loch of Tingwall on Shetland, a Baird's Sandpiper at Valtos in the Western Isles, a Pallid Harrier west of Louth in Lincolnshire plus late news of three Northumberland, and a Red-footed Falcon at Cley NWT in Norfolk. Rarities included a Black-winged Kite in Norfolk, a Long-tailed Shrike on the Gloucestershire/Oxfordshire border, a Solitary Sandpiper in Scilly, a Hudsonian Godwit at Cattawade on the Suffolk/Essex border, Western Bonelli's Warbler in Devon, a Hooded Merganser in Suffolk, further Baird's Sandpipers in Glamorgan, County Donegal, County Mayo and County Wexford, a Pallid Harrier in Shetland, and a Long-billed Dowitcher in Orkney. |
